 Megan's Custom Cards is a family owned and operated business. We believe in the importance of written communication. In this age of instant gratification and constant communication, written letters are falling by the wayside. We are committed to creating correspondence products that promise to become treasured keepsakes for those who send and receive them.
You're probably wondering how I dove into the world of custom card creating . . . After the birth of my son in 2000, I was thoroughly dissatisfied with the commercial products available to announce his birth, and invite loved ones to special events such as his Christening. As a result, I began to design and create my own cards to mark such occassions. As I became more adept at desktop publishing and photography, I began incorporating photographs into my designs. It wasn't long before I was hearing, "you really should go into business with that!", time and time again. When my daughter was born almost two years later, I designed an invitation for her Christening that featured her in her gown. When a friend of mine had a baby a few months later, she called me and said she just HAD to have me take her baby's photo and create an invitation "just like Sophie's" for her daughter's Christening. She then "told two friends, who told two friends and so on and so on"...
I started producing specialty items for clients in March of 2003. Since that time, I have been busy creating "the perfect card" for my clients and the word-of-mouth passion has grown into a business.
Both my mother and my grandfather were established artists. I credit them for my skill, and my amazing children as my muse. Your vision is my inspiration, my goal is to create a product that evokes the sentiment you want to convey in all of your formal and informal correspondence. I welcome and listen to your input and ideas so that the final result encompasses (and hopefully exceeds) your greatest expectations.
