Do you accept credit cards? TOP All major credit cards are accepted and processed through PayPal to protect your security. You DO NOT need to have a PayPal account to pay with your credit card. If you do have an account with PayPal, you are welcome to use your PayPal balance to pay for your order. Do you ship out of the United States? TOP
We will ship to Canada, but not outside the US/Canadian areas. Canadian shipping fees vary from domestic shipping. If you are in Canada, and want to have your product shipped to you, please contact us with your postal code and number of invites desired so that we can provide you with a quote and time fame.
We do offer design-only services which very popular with our overseas customer’s. There is a flat design fee for this service, and you will receive a professional resolution JPG file that you can treat as any other digital file. You will be able to print your file at home, upload to your regular online processor, or save to disk and bring to a local digital processor for printing. What kind of paper are the photo cards printed on? TOP All of our true photo cards are true photographs, lab printed on professional grade Fuji Crystal Archive paper with a matte finish. The archive papers protect your photos for years to come, we pride ourselves on knowing that our cards become keepsakes for not only those who purchase them, but those who receive them. We do encourage you to safely store them in acid free albums, frames or storage containers out of any direct sunlight to best protect their integrity. How long will it take to receive my order? TOP
It is very difficult to give an exact window on delivery as processing time is affected by several variables, some of which are dependent on the client. After we receive your order, photo(s), and payment, we will begin work on your proof. Digital proofs are sent via e-mail within 48 hours. The exception to this rule is during the busy holiday season (October 1 – December 31) when your proof may take as long as 72 hours to be processed. After receiving your proof, you will need to either:
1. Approve your proof and e-mail us your approval
or
2. Request (via e-mail) any change(s) to the proof
If any changes are requested, a revised proof will be sent for your review within 12 hours. Upon receiving your revised proof you again will either (a) approve the proof (b) or request any change(s). Your order is considered complete when we receive your proof approval and we will send your prints to the lab for processing. If you request a change AFTER we have received your proof approval, changes will be charged for reprocessing fees of $ .25 per invitation. Except during the busy holiday season (October 1 – December 31), all orders ship within 48 hours of proof approval (excluding Sunday’s and postal holiday’s). Generally speaking, most clients orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Shipping is via USPS Priority mail, and most clients will receive their order within 5-7 business days. Again, this time frame varies significantly based on how quickly you send your information, photos, and payment as well as how quickly you respond to your proof(s). What size are your envelopes? I ordered photo cards from another place, and the envelopes were too big, there was about an inch of extra space on top. TOP Our envelopes are perfectly sized for both 4x6 and 5x7 cards. The envelopes are 4.25 x 6.25 and 5.25 x 7.25 respectively. Are envelopes included, or do they cost extra? TOP There is not an additional charge for envelopes, the price of your card includes an envelope. When pre-ordering envelopes (see below), you will be charged, but the amount you pay (though non refundable) is applied as a credit when you order your cards Can I preorder envelopes? TOP Yes, you certainly can. We will need to know what size cards you will be ordering, and how many. There is a non-refundable charge for this service (including shipping) based on the quantity of envelopes needed, and the charge will be credited towards your order. If you choose not to purchase cards from us after we have shipped your envelopes, you will not receive a refund. I really like a particular card, but the sample shows 3 photos, and I’d like to use 4. Can I do this? TOP All of our cards are custom made based on our client specifications. All of the designs are fully customizable and interchangeable. You are always free to “tweak” the designs as shown to suit your own personal style. Can you fix red-eye? TOP Yes. Will will correct any visible flaws including red-eye, lighting and color adjustments on your photo when preparing your proof. We will correct red eye, and make any necessary lighting and color adjustments There is more than one person in the photo I have, but only one that I want to feature in the design, can you remove the others? TOP Provided your photo is of high enough quality for us to zoom in on a particular subject, we will take care of that for you. Please be sure that you let us know who should remain in the photo, and who should be cropped out by filling that information in the special details portion on the order form. Do you keep my card on record if I want to order more? TOP
We keep all client final product images for 3 months. Should you find you need more, please contact our customer service team by e-mail at customer.service at meganscustomcards.com to confirm that we still have your image. How do I submit my photographs? TOP
You will receive an e-mail address that you should send your digital photos to after placing your order. Please note that for quality purposes, we can not accept photos from camera phones, digital cameras with a resolution lower than 3 megapixels, or photos that have been edited, cropped, or zoomed. If you have any questions about the resolution/quality of your photos, please e-mail them to us for a quality check. If we have any concerns about the resolution/quality of your digital images, we will contact you. If we do not feel your photo will produce a quality product, we will encourage you to send a replacement. If you are not able to send your photos via e-mail, we will provide you with a mailing address to send physical photos. Note that sending physical photos extends your processing time as we will need to wait to receive your photos before we can begin working on your proofs. All physical photos will be returned to you with your completed order. Can I cancel or modify the amount of cards on my order? TOP We begin work on proofs quite quickly. If you choose to cancel your order after a proof has been sent to you via e-mail by our studio, you will be charged a $ 20 design fee but will owe no other printing or shipping fees. If you cancel before a proof has been created for you, you are under no financial obligation. You are able to make changes to the amount of cards ordered anytime until proof approval. If you have reduced the amount ordered, a partial refund will be processed. After proof approval, you will not be able to reduce the amount of cards ordered. If your product has already been sent to print, additional cards may be ordered but may take more time to ship as a new processing order will need to be placed. Can you print the text of my invitation in (another language)? TOP We can, provided all of the language (including alpha characters, accent marks, and charchters) are available on a standard US computer keyboard. Because our native tongue is English, we rely completely on your proof approval for proper spelling. When you proof arrives, you will need to thoroughly check it for any errors and send your approval before your cards are printed. Can I use a photos taken by a professional photographer in my cards? TOP Provided you have received written permission from the photographer, we will be able to use the photos. You MUST send us a copy of the release with your photos (you may scan a copy of it and send it via e-mail). The release must be signed and dated by the photographer. Please contact us with any questions about our copyright policies. Professional portraits and photographs remain the property of the photographer who took the picture. We will always respect the rights of the artist, please do not ask us to use a photo you do not have permission to use. What can I do if I find a mistake on my cards or order? TOP
We are not satisfied until we know you are happy with your order. Because of this, we require proof approval on each and every one of our printed products. We ask that you carefully check and re-check your proof, particularly the spelling and party details for any possible errors. If the product you receive is different from your approved proof, or if it is not the size you ordered, or there is any other flaw due to a mistake in our studio, we will correct it immediately and ship a replacement set of cards to you. Additional envelopes will not be shipped, so please be sure to keep the envelopes sent in your original shipment
